Team Member Bio: Christy, Manicurist

Christy, a long time employee of ESSpa Kozmetika is a very talented and personable manicurist and esthetician from the South Hills. She has been in the spa industry for about 9 years and has loved it from the start. Christy’s education all started when she attended South Hills Beauty Academy for her extensive training in two areas of Cosmetology.

Others say that Christy’s personality is what really makes her stand out among the crowd, and it is one of the reasons why she is so popular at ESSpa. Not only does she treat ESSpa’s guests with the utmost care and hospitality, she provides relaxing spa pedicures too. Her favorite spa treatment to provide for her guests is a foot massage. Christy says, “A foot massage in our spa pedicures just make my guests feel so relaxed and rejuvenated.” Along with Christy’s extensive training as a nail technician, she has also received extensive training and a license in skincare.

Christy’s favorite spa treatment to get is the ESSpa European facial. She suggests that everyone must try it at least once and get a bottle of the drying lotion for problem skin. The drying lotion is one product at ESSpa that Christy just can’t live without. Not only does Christy take care of her skin and nails, she promotes healthy living of the mind, body, and soul. She loves to incorporate a low-fat yogurt and trail mix into her diet. Christy also enjoys traveling all over the world, checking out art museums, and going to the theatre.

One of the highlights of Christy’s day is getting to know new people and interacting with guests at ESSpa. “It’s a great atmosphere and I have great people to work with,” Christy says.
