Things keep getting better. So the night shift RNs are two great guys one of which is ex-military guy. So he talked the doctors into adjusting Kristian's sedatives lower so Kristian is now more awake - his eyes are open and he is calmly watching G-Force with Eva. The main reason for reducing the sedatives is to allow him to start coughing which will help unclog some of his congested lungs.

Its going to be a sleepless nigt but its just kind of amazing seeing him back to the land of the living.
